Psalm 130 – New International Version (NIV)
A song of ascents.
- Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
- Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
- If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?
- But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you.
- I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
- I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
- Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption.
- He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.

Psalm 130 – King James Version (KJV)
A Song of degrees.
- Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
- Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.
- If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
- But there is forgiveness with thee, That thou mayest be feared.
- I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, And in his word do I hope.
- My soul waiteth for the Lord More than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
- Let Israel hope in the LORD: For with the LORD there is mercy, And with him is plenteous redemption.
- And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
